Competence centre ADF Benelux

04/06/2018

Groupe ADF is a well-established player in the market. Thanks to our innovative and persistent investment in the future we decided to set up a competence centre. This allows us to pass on the knowledge to new employees who are specialised in welding, pipefitting and flange mounting. Our competence centre also works closely together with schools and external education centres to attract new skilled employees. The goal of the competence centre of ADF is to provide a goal-oriented training to enhance the quality and competences of the employees.

Flange mounting according to EN 1591-4 standard

Every flange operator who participates at the training is VCA certified. ADF offers complementary competence tests which focuses on the theoretical and practical skills of the operator.

At the competence centre we attach great importance to quality during execution:

  • Safety
  • Type of flanges
  • Recognition type of gaskets
  • Correction of disalignment of flanges
  • Selection and identification of bolts and nuts
  • Use of torque key, mechanical of hydraulic torque equipment
  • torquing patterns

The welding school is operational as of this month. The trainings for pipefitting and flange mounting will be available in the autumn.
